“The eyes of the Lord roam to and fro across the whole earth, looking to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
How comforting it is to know that we have never been out of God’s sight. We have never taken one step that He didn’t know about.
Sometimes we have felt lost.
Sometimes we have felt alone.
But He was right there. All along.
He knew exactly where we were and what we were going through.
It seems like there are seasons in our lives—chapters, that are off track from where we imagine our faith walk to be. We wonder, “Are these times really a part of God’s plan?”
From my own personal experiences, I have found that He will use every situation we face in life for our good and His glory. Had I been able to skip one step of those trying times, I would have missed a deeper reliance on His help and guidance going forward.
We have never been out of of His sight.
We’ve never been out of His love and care.
There has never been a moment where He has said, “That’s it! No more! I’m done with you!”
He will never grow tired of teaching us His ways. He will always pursue us. He will give us strength and encouragement to keep going forward. That’s because we are always in His sight.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You are the One we seek today. Thank You for such love that Your sight is always fixed on us. Help us to remember that very thing when we face hard times. Give us pause to remember that there is no problem too hard for You. Give us faith to know we are never alone in our fears, anxieties, and uncertainties of what lies ahead. We ask that You renew our faith and trust in You today, and that above all else, we may live in such a way that others will see Jesus living in us. I pray this in His mighty name, and for His sake. Amen.
