“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Today is a beautiful day here in Round Rock! After the icy, cold weather of last week, the sunshine and warmer temperatures sure are appreciated.
I’ve never professed to be a cold weather person and am already looking forward to my favorite season—Spring. I love warmer weather, long walks, birds singing in harmony, budding and blooming trees, beautiful flowers, and green grass! Spring brings us out of winter and shows off the beauty of new life in nature.
What about the seasons of our life? The familiar Scripture passage I read this morning tells us that God has purpose in every season of our lives. We may not see it or feel it or even want it, but He has a good plan for us (Jeremiah 29:11). When we trust Him with every fiber that is within us, He will bring joy when there seems to be none. He will strengthen us and use us for His good purposes.
Just some thoughts for today. Heading outside to take advantage of the sunshine! And to count my blessings that the SON shines for me, and all to see! Happy Wednesday, everyone!
