Recently, I completed a very long and time-consuming project—the devotional book shown above. Because I needed to complete the final lap, I stopped most of my writing about four months ago to finish the last, time-consuming tasks. I am grateful that the Lord has guided me through this project to its completion.
Today, I am pleased to announce that over 200 devotions are now in the hands of my publisher, and the book is expected to be available within the next few weeks. My prayer is that these messages, written for both young and old, will bring glory to God and encourage and strengthen us in our faith. Throughout this book, I have woven just a fraction of my story within some of the devotions. I have written from my heart, which is full of gratitude for the many ways that my Heavenly Father has carried me through the valleys of life victoriously and given me the firm assurance that He loves me more than I can comprehend.
We all have a unique story, composed of our life’s experiences. During our lifetime, God helps us to weave the good with the bad and the sorrow with the joy by providing a spiritual lens, His Word, for us to see our circumstances more clearly. If we are willing to relinquish ourselves to His care, He will draw us near and strengthen us.
We can be assured that God is faithful to His Word. Even when we don’t feel His presence, He is there. Let us ask Him to help us build our faith, so that during times of uncertainty, we will be strong, humble, and tender in His presence.
It is in the Gentle Shepherd’s arms that I have found my resting place, and I pray that you, too, will find rest and comfort through Christ our Lord and Savior. May your strength in the Lord grow abundantly as you abide in Him.
